My fitness journey began officially March 2008 when I went to the doctor I was 42 years old and weighed 240lbs (although I have struggled all my life with fighting the battle of the bulge)-now I know you can’t believe I would tell my weight. My Fitness journey began in 2006 when I entered Villa Grove’s Biggest Loser. I had been attending Rebekah’s aerobic classes occasionally but a contest got me excited about losing weight. Dear Chix,
My husband and I started the Chix program(modified for old-timers) less than thirteen weeks ago. We each have lost twenty odd pounds and feel more fit than ever. My blood work is fine and I have had a problem with cholesterol, high blood pressure and Gerds disease. All of these conditions have improved and the goal is to be pill free in a year or two. My goal is to lose another fifty pounds. My husband wants to lose another twenty pounds and maintain a 180lb. weight.
