Audra Cisna

Trainer - Homer
Audra Cisna has had a passion for food, nutrition, health, and fitness her entire life. She grew up in a family of experienced cooks from her great-grandmother, grandmothers, mom, and many aunts – they all taught her food is about much more than just eating. Learning how to garden, harvest, and preserve is the way of life. Audra decided to pursue her passion for health and food and became a Registered Dietitian in 2008 after earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University and a Master’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University. Audra started her career in clinical dietetics and then in 2013 became employed in private practice focusing on weight management. In 2014 she earned a certificate of training in adult weight management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Audra was introduced to Chix in Training in 2014 when her (at the time) neighbor, Tish Gulick, encouraged her to try a session. Audra discovered that Chix would quickly become a part of her daily life. Through proper training, she’s been able to improve race times in 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons, build strength in lifting, and most importantly grow her faith. Audra is excited to share the word of God with women, encourage them on their journey, and build new friendships back in her home town of Homer. Audra lives in Camargo with her husband Doug, daughter Riayn, and twins Will and Chloe. Find her in the garden during summer, teaching her children the same values her family instilled in her, in the kitchen experimenting with recipes, reading a good book, on a family walk, or playing at the park with her kiddos.
