Julie Sweet

Julie Sweet found Chix in Training as a participant in 2012, and the focused fitness, nutrition, and shared faith inspired her to recertify as a Personal Trainer and work alongside her best friend and training partner Michelle Potenberg. She loves that Chix focuses on a variety of exercises and on eating real, nutritionally dense food. In every camp, she sees women increase their confidence and strength, which spills into all facets of their lives and continues beyond the camps.

Chix mornings serve as a shining light in her day, in addition to a full-time job and full-time family. Julie is also passionate about running and rock climbing; activities she can enjoy with her son Cooper (12) and daughter Anna (10). She loves obstacle events such as the Spartan Super and Tough Mudder and has completed six marathons, several half marathons, a 100-mile cycling ride, triathlon sprints and continues to enjoy competing in athletic events.

Julie is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and has been a Chix Trainer since 2014. She has a B.S. in accounting from Butler University and a Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois.
